On this episode Jessie reflects back to the lessons she learned while running a nature based summer camp a few weeks ago. At its core this episode is about the importance of immersing your family (and yourself) in the outdoors as much as possible. She unpacks ways to invite kids to take the lead and allow their intuition, and exploration to take over and also highlights some of the many benefits that nature can provide to our health and wellbeing.

2️⃣ Create a list of all the local nature parks to start exploring. In Pennsylvania we can download an app called "Natural Lands" that gives us access to all the local preserves.
3️⃣ Try to head outdoors first thing in the morning to reduce cortisol levels and keep them lowered for the rest of the day.
